WHICH WINE IS WHICH?

It's often difficult to differentiate between which wines are sweeter or drier than others. Each person has their own personal preference of wines they enjoy best, so here's a short description of each wine that SeaGrape offers, organized from driest to sweetest, so you know which one will be the best fit for you!

MARVELOUS MERLOT

Our Marvelous Merlot is our first and currently only red wine, made specifically from Merlot grapes. Merlot in general give off aromas of several different scents including plum, cherries, and chocolate. Although merlot is definitely the driest wine of our collection, it generally has lower tannins, which is an element that gives wine its bitter, dry taste. Unlike the rest of our wines, merlot is meant to be drank at room temperature.

PERFECT PINOT GRIGIO

Perfect Pinot Grigio is our gorgeous white wine that is a decent happy medium between dry and sweet. It is categorized as a dry wine because of it's higher acidity, and its main fruit flavors are lemon, lime, pear, nectarine, and apple, and can give off aromas of honey suckle.

POPPIN' SPARKLING WINE

There are many different types of sparkling wines when taking into consideration how dry or sweet it is. This particular sparkling wine falls under the "light, dry, fruit and floral" category. This means that the wine is not terribly heavy, has a slight dryness to it, and it emits flavors and aromas of peaches and other fruity scents. That's why this wine falls right in the middle of our dry and sweet wines!

RUBY ROSÉ

Our Ruby Rosé is the perfect combo for those caught between red and white wine. Interestingly enough, rosé is the result of the skins of red grape touching wine for a short time. Depending on how the rosé is made, this wine can taste many different ways. However, rosé tends to be universally a sweeter wine. Its main fruit flavors are strawberries, rhubarb, citrus zest, honeydew melon, and rose petal.
