Our Timeline

Take a look at how SeaGrape evolved from being just an idea on paper to a fully developed brand of wine!

The First Sketch

Ah, where it all began. Here are the very first sketches of the SeaGrape logo before the final sketch (3rd drawing down) was decided upon. These sketches were created in early February of 2017.

The creator of SeaGrape, Ilaria DeAngelis, spent a while deciding which logo would represent the brand the best, based on her image for the brand. She finally decided that the third sketch was ultimately what SeaGrape's image would turn out to be, with the rope boarder representing a beachy, relaxed feel that she wanted people to connect to when they drank SeaGrape wine.

Our First Logo

This was the original computer sketch of the very first SeaGrape logo which was created in February of 2017. Our main colors started out as purple, cream, and sea foam green. This was also the original label to be placed on our bottles, back when SeaGrape only offered Moscato and Rosé.

Our First Photos

Our first two bottles! These were the original photo to appear on the website as well as the rest of the social media. These were the only two wines that SeaGrape offered at the time: SeaGrape Classic Moscato and SeaGrape Classic Rosé.

These photos prompted the launch of SeaGrape's online presence back in September of 2017. The biggest issues with these photos is that aside from the bottle/wine color, there was no identification on the label to say which wine was which. In the coming weeks, that would soon change.

And then there were three!

This photo, from November 2017, features the first photos of the new SeaGrape labels as well as the introduction of SeaGrape Pinot Grigio! These labels made identifying the bottles much easier, with the color of the label changed for each bottle as well as the name of each wine put on the appropriate bottle label. This kind of change came perfectly in time for SeaGrape to launch its newest creation: SeaGrape Pinot Grigio.

The collection grows....

The New Year brought more change for SeaGrape when we introduced SeaGrape Marvelous Merlot to the collection in January 2018! With this addition, we decided to change the official names of all our wines. We removed the word "classic" in front of each title and gave them more fun, memorable names. So instead of "classic", our wines became Marvelous Merlot, Perfect Pinot Grigio, Sweet Moscato, and Ruby Rosé.

Out with the old, in with the new!

Present day! We ditched the black etched border to the labels and replaced it with a beautiful rope border, just how Ilaria imagined it would look in her original sketch! We now have five amazing wines, with the most recent addition of SeaGrape Poppin' Sparkling Wine. We can't wait to see how SeaGrape will evolve from here!
